WTRX - 1330 kHz - Flint, MI (USA) - QSL

Recibida confirmación de esta rara (por aquí!) emisora. La frecuencia suele estar ocupada y dominada por la WRCA, pero al amanecer del pasado día 15 de marzo la propagación favorecía a emisoras del interior de los EE.UU. mientras que las de la costa apenas si se escuchaban. Y, además, llegaban con señales sorprendentemente fuertes para las potencias tan reducidas de algunas de ellas. WTRX, según me cuenta su ingeniero jefe sale con 3 kw. y apuntando hacia el Norte: "Mauricio, you did indeed receive our station. It's incredible to think how the AM skywave can travel so far. WTRX is a 3 kilowat station with a 3 tower directional antenna shooting to the north through the heart of central Michigan. Which makes me wonder whether or not the skywave went over the north pole around the globe over the south pole and back up to Spain for you to hear it.
